Descrição: We present the first systematic in situ <math>\operatorname{{}^{119}Sn}</math> Mössbauer studies on vapor quenched amorphous <math>\operatorname{Mn_xSn_{1-x}}(0,09 \le x\le 0.95)</math> A comparison of the values of the isomer shift and quadrupole splitting at different concentrations x with those of related MnSn intermetallic compounds suggests the existence of a crystalline like short range order in this amorphous system.
