- We simulate <math>d = 2\,\!</math> polymer growth by allowing for a branching probability <math>b\,\!</math> and an impurity concentration <math>c\,\!</math> <math>(0 \le b,c \le 1)\,\!</math> . In the <math>(b,c)\,\!</math> space we find a critical line (locus of vanishing order parameter and diverging correlation length) which separates ''infinite'' from ''finit''e growth regimes; in particular, a ''nonzero'' critical value for b exists even for <math>c = 0\,\!</math>.
