Eletrodinâmica Quântica de Lee-Wick

We revise Lee-Wick Quantum Electrodynamics, an extension of QED obtained through higher derivatives. The theory presents an improved ultraviolet behaviour, dispensing the renormalization program. The price to pay for that is the introduction of a ghost, a massive mode that violates microcausality. Lower bounds for the ghost’s mass are found within classical and quantum experiments.
