Hyperfine Interactions in the Intermetallic System Al-Rich Side

- Investigations of the hyperfine interactions of the <math>Ce(Fe_{l-x}Al_{x})_2\,\!</math> system in the Al rich side for <math>0.60 \le x \le 1.0\,\!</math> have been performed using Mössbauer spectroscopy at room temperature <math>(RT)\,\!</math> and <math>4.2K\,\!</math>, under applied magnetic fields <math>B_a \le 4.5T</math>. The spectra can be analyzed in terms of two components, <math>D1\,\!</math> and <math>D2\,\!</math> ; the former one is associated to the Fe in <math>Ce(Fe_{l-x}Al_{x})_2\,\!</math> and <math>D2\,\!</math> to the spurious phase <math>Ce_{2}(Fe_{17-x}Al_x)\,\!</math> that appears in small amounts, but is strongly magnetic.
