- Two new classes of spatially homogeneous cosmological solutions of Einstein-Maxwell equations are obtained by considering a class of exact perturbations of the static Bertotti-Robinson (BR) model. The BR solution is shown to be unstable under these perturbations, being perturbed into exact cosmological solutions with perfect fluid (equations of state <math> p= \lambda \rho , 0 \le \lambda \le 1 \,\! </math> ) isotropic/anisotropic expansion and non null, electric conductivity.
