- The <math>^{57}Fe\,\!</math>, <math>^{155}Gd\,\!</math> and <math>^{157}Gd\,\!</math> NMR of <math>Gd_2\,\!</math><math>Fe_{17}\,\!</math><math>N_x\,\!</math> was measured in the ordered magnetic state at <math>4.2 K\,\!</math> for <math>0 \le x \le 3\,\!</math>. The NMR signal intensities fall with increasing nitrogen content. The <math>^{57}Fe\,\!</math> lines were found to move to higher frequencies with increasing <math>x\,\!</math> in agreement with Mössbauer experiments. The nitrogenation of the particles was found to be inhomogeneous.
