- In this letter, we present the Parkes-Siegel formulation for the massive Abelian <math>N = 1\,\!</math> super-<math>QED_{2+2}\!\,</math> coupled to a self-dual supermultiplet, by introducing a chiral multiplier superfield. We show that after carrying out a suitable dimensional reduction from <math>(2 + 2)\,\!</math> to <math>(1 + 2)\,\!</math> dimensions, and performing some necessary truncations, the simple supersymmetric extension of the <math>\tau_3QED_{1+2}\!\,</math> coupled to a Chern-Simons term naturally comes out.
