## **Abstract**

A teoria de perturbações cosmológicas no universo de Friedman-Robertson-Walker (FRW) é estudada segundo o formalismo Quasi-Maxwelliano, usando a decomposição em harmônicos introduzida por Lifshitz et al.. Restringimo-nos ao caso escalar, relacionado com perturbações na densidade de matéria. Não são estudadas perturbações rotacionais nem ondas gravitacionais. Admitindo um fluido perturbado linear sem fluxo de energia, obtemos um sistema dinâmico fechado para duas variáveis básicas, com interpretação física imediata e independente de gauge. Aplicando um tratamento hamiltoniano, obtemos a instabilidade do universo de FRW.
