<dd>We report here Mössbauer studies by transmission and back- scattering technics, with Cape York and Santa Catharina meteori tes in powder form. Martensitic transformation &lt;math&gt;\gamma\,\!&lt;/math&gt;-phase to &lt;math&gt;\alpha\,\!&lt;/math&gt;-phase is induced by mechanical treatment and long-range order is affected.</dd>
