Description
The total angular momentum transfer measured in the reactions <math>^{165}\,\! Ho</math> on <math>^{176}Yb\,\!</math>, <math>^{154}Sm \,\!</math> and <math>^{Nat} Ag \,\!</math> at 1400 MeV and <math>^{86} Kr\,\!</math> + <math>^{152}Sm \,\!</math> at 610 MeV were analised on the basis of a classical model with friction forces including, besides the relative motion of the ions, their rotations and quadrupole vibrations. The ratios of tangential or pivotal to radial friction were fixed by the analysis and found to be 1/20. No strong evidences of the sticking mechanisms were found.
