<dd>It is shown that when doing perturbative calculations with dimensional regularization the straightforward use of Bochner theorem gives an alternative method to the usual ones, without following Feynman or Bogolinbov prescriptions. Several examples are discussed. The method is equally applicable when working with analytic regularization.</dd>
