- Description
- Isothermal DC magnetization measurements were performed in <math>(R_{x}, Y_{1-x})Fe_2\,\!</math> <math>(with R = Dy\,\!</math> and <math>Er\,\!</math>, in the range of <math>0 < x < 1\,\!</math>, for several temperatures. The observed pronounced decay of the coercive field <math>H_c\,\!</math> with temperature was fitted with an exponential. The coercive field <math>H_c\,\!</math>, and the propagation field <math>H_p\,\!</math> show a maximum value in the range of <math>30-40%\,\!</math> concentration for Dy or Er. At low temperatures, the coercive field <math>H_c\,\!</math> decreases exponentially with temperature, near <math>50% R\,\!</math> concentration. These results can be explained by intrisinc domain wall pinning. Time relaxations of the remanent magnetization are measured and attributed to domain wall surface deformations.
