<dd>In this letter, we present the action for the massive super-&lt;math&gt;QED_{2+2}\,\!&lt;/math&gt; . A pair of chiral and a pair of anti-chiral superfields with opposite &lt;math&gt;U(1)\,\!&lt;/math&gt;-charges are required. We also carry out a dimensional reduction à la Scherk from &lt;math&gt;(2 + 2)\,\!&lt;/math&gt; to &lt;math&gt;(1 + 2)\,\!&lt;/math&gt; dimensions, and we show that, after suitable truncations are performed, the supersymmetric extension of the &lt;math&gt;\tau_{3}QED_{1+2}\,\!&lt;/math&gt; naturally comes out.</dd>
